A Sunny Day, At Last!

It was rainy and gloomy for the past few days, Adley, Mond and I are itching to go out of the house and go for a walk, like we usually do. It's so fun to go out on a sunny and warm day.

This morning, a health center representative dropped by our house to tell us that today is the day Adley competes with the other "healthy babies". I am thrilled about the idea of going there. People in the house joked around and told me, I might play the part of the "stage Mom". I don't know if you're familiar with this word but it's the Mom who always accompanies her talented child---she's the one who coaches and dances with her child in the sidelines. Um, not really my kind of thing!

Much to my relief, we're all there to bring the baby and the health records (immunization records, height and weight sheet, stuff like; is the baby breastfeed till his 6th month, et cetera, et cetera). That's basically where their base their criteria. So we waited a bit. Learned a thing or two about how important keeping these records. Hmmm...I'm not really a paper-person but, yes I do keep a lot of things and that I would say most of my cherished mementos. It was only when I got married and had a baby that I was able to come across lots of documents; medical, our marriage certificate, licenses, health care benefits---oh too much paper work! But hey, I can manage. *smiles*

Anyway, let's leave the paper talk.

So when you're faced with lots of kids and it takes forever to finish; you're bound to see crying and wiggling kids. Lol.

To sum up the story. Adley didn't win. :D But yeah, with or without those documents, he is definitely healthy and happy. No doubt about it. It doesn't really matter. What they've just told me is that I should always keep in mind to monitor his weight and growth. And those documents blah blah blah are also needed for school (they're gonna look into it). Now, these things really make me feel uncomfortable. Oh well it's just me. Finally the contest is done! Off to McDonald's we go!

And so here are the photos. Enjoy!

P.S. It's so fun playing with my child in the playplace. Hahaha! No one bothered stopping me going into those tunnels. It's tiring but it's so damn fun! :D I'd like to try this again. Hubby also wished he could fit in. :P Well we better find a bigger place to go to!
